2018 Goals

1. Train hard

- Train 6 days a week.

- Get 8 hours of sleep per night.

2. Be happy

- Patience with the 1st goal and its applications.

3. Become my best

- I still have untapped potential. It's time to find it.

Bonus Goal

4. Win the 2018 Transplant Games 5k in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 4th.

- A sub 18-minute 5k is most likely needed to accomplish this goal.

Personal:

My Mom donated half of her Liver to me when I was 6 months old. I have now taken care of it for 20 years. I hope to do so for years to come.

I served an LDS mission in Fort Worth, Texas speaking Spanish 15'-17'. I am a Healthcare Administration Major at BYU-Idaho.

Alta Hawk XC & Track Alumni 2015. Yes, 'The Rob Murphy' was my coach, and yes, he is a legend.

Took my final final exam this morning after my run. I’m done until January. Now on to the work grind. 

I ran up to the Rexburg water tower then to the end of the road and back home.

I tan to the track and warmed up 4 laps. Then ran a 4x400 workout. My splits were 87,83,83,83. It felt good I felt slow in comparison to high school but that was ok. I will be fine. It was the first workout of its kind for me since then. I cooled down 2 laps and jogged home.

I tan to the track on campus and put in 3 miles. Every other lap I included a flying 40. After 12 laps I ran a 400 in 74 and a second one in 80 after a 100 meter walk. I was BEAT after the second one so I stretched and ran home. Long run tomorrow.
