1. Train hard

- Train 6 days a week.

- Get 8 hours of sleep per night.

- Patience with the 1st goal and its applications.

3. Become my best

- I still have untapped potential. It's time to find it.

Bonus Goal

4. Win the 2018 Transplant Games 5k in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 4th.

- A sub 18-minute 5k is most likely needed to accomplish this goal.

Personal:

My Mom donated half of her Liver to me when I was 6 months old. I have now taken care of it for 20 years. I hope to do so for years to come.

I served an LDS mission in Fort Worth, Texas speaking Spanish 15'-17'. I am a Healthcare Administration Major at BYU-Idaho.

Alta Hawk XC & Track Alumni 2015. Yes, 'The Rob Murphy' was my coach, and yes, he is a legend.

Am- Today will be my first day back on the blog in two and a half years. I have run here and there since then and am now re-commiting myself to what I know will keep me happy and motivated in my life. Running.

Pm- I ran around Draper in a loop starting in Fort St. I felt pretty good until I hit an uphill. Ok, it was an incline of like maybe 2% it was nothing, but since I haven’t been training it was taxing. I ended up walking about three quarters of a mile then ran home. I was pretty tired, but so happy to be back in it. It was a happy day. I finished with 15 push-ups and 30 sit-ups.

I ran two easy miles around Fort street and the Corner Canyon track. I'm sore from yesterday so it was a decent recovery run.

It was a pretty good run. I just ran around campus and enjoyed saying hi to people as they walked to there first classes. About half the run was uphill the other half flat and downhill. I ended with 20 push-ups and 30 sit-ups. 

PM- I starting getting sick, nausea and tiredness.

No run today, I’m still trying to figure out my new semester schedule. I plan to run a consistent six days per week from now on.

 Nice 3 miles around Rexburg. About mile 2.5 that’s when I started feeling it. That’s an improvement! I ended with 4 striders, 20 push-ups and 30 crunches. I’m starting to feel a lot better and looking forward to training each day.  As long as I can stay on my sleep schedule I should feel better and better as time goes on.

It was around 3miles I believe. I’m not sure since I didn’t take my gps watch with me, but it was a similar route to a couple days ago with a little extra added on top of it. I ran through downtown Rexburg then wrapped back toward campus up the hill towards the temple and down back to my apartment. My hip started to bug me on the down hill so I toned it down. I finished with 2 striders, 20 push-ups and 30 crunches. I’m feeling a lot more healthy and have noticed I have more energy since restarting my training. I’m really enjoying it!

I have been sick today, ate some spicy food... it was no bueno.

I decided to go run 3.1 miles with my roommate in the dark. It was a good stress relief run for both of us. I ended with 25 push-ups. Still feeling sick by the end, but i made it through.
